Dear All, Yesterday I wrote out the SI prefix symbols � in order from smallest to largest � and I was embarrassed to discover that I had to refer to the 'SI bible' to make sure that I got them right.
Does anyone know (or have you devised) a memory aid (technically known as a mnemonic) for the SI prefixes. I vaguely remember several that we used for the first twenty elements of the periodic table but I have not seen one for the SI prefixes. Cheers, Pat Naughtin LCAMS Geelong, Australia
