I was in the gym today and wanted to use a medicine ball. There were several
sizes and weights and I was curious as to which one to pick.

The gym had two types: one marked 'Gr 1000' and one marked 'Gr 3000'. I
assumed that these were the product numbers. I thought it was odd that they
had not put the weight on the ball. It did not occur to me until later that
these were intended to indicate the weight as 1000 g and 3000 g.

You can just make out the markings at:

They are made by gymnic:

Note that they use yet another format when listing the sizes in a table. On
the website they put the 'gr' after the digits.

I see 'gr' commonly used on the European mainland. Somebody here described
'gr' being used on a jar of French jam and how they managed to get it
changed.

Anyway, I have sent an email to gymnic and we will see what happens.
