Now here is a thought. Wouldn't it be sweet if the CMS/CAMS test was given
to every student as part of an exit exam from high school. In order to
graduate high school, every student would have to be either CMS or CAMS
certified. CAMS certification would be required in order to go to an
engineering college or any higher level involving science. Where science
study is not in ones plans, then a CMS certification would be sufficient.

The great thing about this is that it would guarantee that almost every
student would be SI proficient when they leave school, even to the level of
getting the symbols and usage correct. This way even marketers and
reporters/editors won't have to dumb down metric articles and such because
they would know SI and they would know that everyone of the audience they
are trying to reach would know SI.

I think this would bear more fruit then making it apart of the Boy Scout
program.

But education still HAS TO BE IN YOUR FACE.

I'll study it and then I'll take the CAMS test someday.
