This is probably a hoax. Look at the title of the URL. I believed a hoax about Big Tobacco a few weeks ago, 'suing everybody who does not smoke' in the Americas under a provision in a free trade agreement.. I had not looked at the title of the webpage on which it was. The reason why I believed that, is because in the USA the most incredible lawsuits ARE possible, where innocent people and businesses are condemned to pay large damages to idiots, con-men and criminals, for instance a thief or burglar getting injured while committing the crime on his victims' premises, suing for damages, then WINNING and the victim has to pay damages to that scum! How about having a head room sign saying 2 m; then somebody jams his SUV under it and sues; it should have been in feet and inches. As suing is also a national pastime in Ireland I think that I know why a new head room sign in Castlebar at the cinema states it in feet and inches only. But soon it will have to be dual at least, otherwise a metric literate person who jams his truck under it might sue them for using ifp only on their sign.
