I have just got a clue to what is going on with line feeds. They remain in
the delivered message but Outlook is stripping them out before displaying
them. I am not sure what rules it uses.

I 'replied' to my own last message and you can see below that the line feeds
are back there. I always try to put url's on their own line (to reduce the
chance of line wrap) and it annoyed me that I kept seeing them appended to
the previous line.

Do other people have the same experience with Outlook?
