2003 March 16 >From private conversation, I am led to believe that federal construction is done in inch-pound units. However, the documents and bid are metric, satisfying the law. It would be useful to have an audit of actual construction for compliance with the law.
Note: The David Skaggs NOAA Research building recently built here in Boulder
has Fahrenheit thermostats with LCD display which can not be set to show
Celsius.
