To all,
This represents an updating and a slight
change in the focus of the Iraqi time discussion. Click onto the
following:
This web site "World Time Clock" shows an
anticipated change to DST for Iraq on April 1, that is from UTC/GMT + 3 to
UTC/GMT + 4. I looked up Kuwait and Qatar but they have not had a history
of using DST so the webmaster does not show its anticipated use in either
place and presumably they will remain UTC/GMT + 3. Check the
following:
I wonder if Iraq will actually make the change in
the middle of the war. What will the Coalition military
do? Will Kuwait and/or Qatar will then stay an hour behind
Iraq. What will the Coalition miliitary command do? Will CNN know
about it in advance? Stay tuned!
To further add to the situation regarding time,
Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, the West Bank, and Egypt each have
different dates to change from UTC/GMT + 2 to UTC/GMT +3. Check the
following:
The United States and Canada, in fact much of North
America, changes to DST on another yet different date. Check the
following:
European Union countries change to DST on the
same date as Turkey. See the following for London:
