North Carolina... Not only for capturing (one of) the most wanted
fugitive(s) in the USA, but also for giving him a metric mugshot :)

Centimeters (modulo 100) on the left, inches on the right. This is
the first time I've seen one of these (not that I look at mug shots
often, though). Wonder if this is becoming more prevalent...?
I've seen it a lot, even on some TV cop shows.
P.S. Today I took my 17 year old to the clinic (Kaiser Permanente) - he had an eye infection. The nurse asked his weight. I replied, "I only know it in kilograms, it's about 68." She said, "That's fine" without another word.
