It's been around about 2 years, and is some joint venture of the large beverage companies (check their website for more). I agree its only one brand out of many, but it IS 1.75 L. I have one at home in the fridge now, as I always buy metric-friendly.
Nat PS: 12 degreees on June 6 in Central PA, normally its 35 and I'm miserable by now! ?? What company is this, first of all? Never heard of it (not here in Canada, at least)!... However, the fact of the matter remains. ALL medium-sized orange juice containers (usually in cartons) are sold in 2 qt sizes! So, I'm sorry, Nat, but can't get excited about this one...
