Ralph,

Your point can not be denied.  There are no US official or professional
society documents which define "inch-pound units" as a *system* of units
(i.e. which defines a unique coherent unit for every quantity encountered
in engineering practice).

Only the SI is a *system* of units which has properties of uniqueness,
coherence, and completeness!

Please continue pressing this point with contractors serving the FHA.
