I have a better idea if we are changing calendars:
13 months of 4 weeks.
The first 12 months have 28 days, the 13th month has 29. Month 13 will have
30 on leap years. This will mean that all the dates of the month will be on
the same day of the week. Months are as evenly divided as possible.
Three observations:
1. Every month would have a Friday the 13th; the superstion-oriented nut jobs would go bonkers.
2. We would get 26 paychecks, not 24. (But we would have to make 13 mortgage payments.)
3. The Congress would probably name the 13th month after Ronald Reagan.
