I noticed that in the above link when I used the Imperial preference, the ambient temperature is predefined as 59F. However when I changed it to S.I. the ambient temperature changed to 15F. "I think there is an inherent error on GE's web page, it appears that it should have been 15C." I wonder if GE get inaccurate submissions. (It reminded me of the problem NASA had once when confusing conversions from F to C.) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nat Hager III" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "U.S. Metric Association" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, June 20, 2003 1:33 AM Subject: [USMA:26147] Imperial Units > Just hunting for something on the web, and I come across this GE link. > I note the choice is "Imperial Units", rather than Standard Units or US > units. > > http://www.gepower.com/dhtml/corporate/en_us/lmgenerator_wizard.jsp > > It sounds dated and disparaging.
