I wonder why Nat Hager III and Paul Trusten in USMA 26211 and 26212 both repeated the long, balanced discussion of the metric by the Globalist. The Globalist article was so well balanced that I could not tell whether the Globalist is in favor or against the metric system.

The Australian Metric Conversion Board assumed that the general public could only be convinced of the value of the metric system by using it. Hence the Board concentrated on converting horse racing, sport, manufacturing, the press and education. The result was a most succeessful and rapid conversion.
