Of course, this does not save any costs because a US manufacturer cannot
share US and UK containers because the pints are different sizes.

I had to search a few places to find a 568 ml prepacked beer container (can
or bottle). I had to search even harder to find one with the word 'pint' on
the label. Most that did exist have switched to 500 ml.

Draught beer is still in UK pints only by law. Consequently beer kegs used
by pubs are still sized and described in UK gallons.
