Dear David and All, It is interesting that this Act of Parliament not only created the Imperial Weights and Measures, it also (by default) created the U.S.A. Customary Weights and Measures by leaving the USA with the older, pre-Imperial, English measures that, I think, are sometimes referred to as the 'Queen Anne' measures.
