Welcome to the people de-lurking on the USMA mailing list. I would just like to remind everybody that discussion is still continuing on news.groups about setting up a metric sytem newsgroup. Just look for the topic 'misc.metric-system'
It is *not* an attempt to replace our mailing lists and/or force anyone here to use newsgroups. It is merely about providing a place where current newsgroup users (who are not, and will never be, members here) can go to seek good advice rather than hear the usual myths repeated. We will eventually be seeking your votes but for now, it is in the compulsory discussion period about the merits of such a group. Please feel free to go there and express your opinion, or not. The call for votes will be later.
