A note from California: Backpacks in the USA,
unfortunately, are always sold with information indicating how many cubic inches
they contain. A rare import (the made-in-the-USA brands are very good,
generally) might have liters on the original tag. Back in the 1970s one
company, North Face or possibly Sierra Designs, quoted liters, but the
effort didn't continue.
Also, bilingual immersion does work. There
are quite a few elementary schools in California with "immersion" Spanish
classes. Kids to period 1 in Spanish, 2 in English, etc. I have
heard good things about this approach.
