Dear Stan and All,

Also, all football records would have to be abandoned or, at least,
reconsidered. How can you compare the performance of an old (historical)
player with a current player if the field has changed in the meantime?

This remindes me of the situation of baby masses in Australia. New mothers
insist on having the mass of their babies converted from grams into pounds
and ounces so that the new babies can be compared with the babies of their
mothers, grandmothers, sisters, cousins, and aunts.

Cheers,

Pat Naughtin LCAMS
