To All,

As you may be aware, there are many products available today that are sold in rational metric sizes.  We have come quite a bit farther in the U.S. since the introduction of the 2 liter soda bottle 30 years ago and I just wanted to say I feel it is our best interest to support the companies making these products by purchasing them.  An example is Proctor and Gamble, who makes a variety of things from shampoo to cleaning products in metric sizes and P&G is a major supporter of the revision of the FPLA to allow metric only labeling.  One of the major points made during the FPLA hearings is that even if the law changes, it is the marketplace that will ultimately decide when full metrication occurs.  With our support, the pace of metrication can be accelerated.  As these products are available globally, our friends in Canada, Australia, the U.K. and other places can also show their support.

Thanks,

Phil
