The thermostat I bought recently comes factory-set for degrees Fahrenheit and am/pm time.

However, it has jumpers allowing it to be reset for degrees Celsius and 24-hour time (independently of one another). Obviously, I took advantage of that. In fact, that option was the reason for getting that model (LUX 500) in the first place.

It would make no sense to offer a Celsius-only thermostat in the U.S. (unless the manufacturer was bound and determined to go out of business).

Subject: [USMA:26936] Degrees C thermostats

Hello everyone. Could you plese tell me if you can buy degrees C thermostats for homes in the States?  We can get them easily in Canada.  Home Depot sells them as well as well as most large home improvement centers. Doreen and I bought a degrees C thermostat for our church this spring and it is in only degrees C.  Cheers.
