Could anybody tell me if the post office in the U K is metric?  What I mean by that is if you go in to a post office in the U K and mail a parcel do they weigh it in metric or imperial?  In Canada our post office went metric on July 1 1979, at a cost of one point 5 million dollars. When the post office went metric there was no disruption of the mail at all. I guess the U S P S is still imperial.
