In fact your reply 27190 even contained an explicit "Hebbard, sir:"
immediately before the "> I wish the world..." quote.

No biggie, but those were *not* my words, they came from John S. Ward
(USMA:27187); I was quoting them in 27188 merely to point out that metric
coordinate grids are readily available without reconsidering our angle and
time measures.  (I personally have no interest in such angle/time
reengineering, although I have no objection to others discussing them on
this list.)
