What is the status of the conversion of market scales to kilograms? Since the resistance movement lost their appeals all the way to the supreme court, one would think that the remaining holdouts would have been forced to change, thus completing the metrication. We don't hear any news about the conversion in the media, so I was wondering what the present status is.
Is it legal in the UK, as far as you may know to sell a customer 500 g of product if a pound is requested? Or must the trader still try to fill a pound in the 450 g range?
