The Fuel tanker at the airport measured out fuel in Liters, the Lavatory
service truck measured out water in US Gallons, Burma is a mix of anything
they can get, it's poor and there are probably trade sanctions. I did not
see any Service Stations that had new pumps and hence non that sold in
Liters. I only spent a couple of days in Yangon (Rangoon), things could be
different in other parts of the country.

I doubt wether you could buy a meter calibrated in Imperial Gallons, who
would want one? Most people in the world probably think the US Gallon and
the UK Gallon are the same.
