I occasionally get mailing list correspondence into my private mailbox, mostly by accident. I occasionally send replies to the private mailbox of others, mostly by accident. These accidents occur because clicking 'reply' goes to the original poster, not the mailing list and clicking 'reply to all' goes to both. Thus it is not possible to reply to the mailing list only without intervening in the 'To' field. The behaviour that has become instinctive with normal mail is inappropriate for this mailing list.
This problem does not occur with some other mailing lists. Is it possible to investigate whether this can be changed? -- Terry Simpson Human Factors Consultant Connected Systems Ltd
