Terry, Are there any radio stations in the UK that broadcast strictly in metric. Especially one that can be listened to on-line. I'm told that some radio station called www.capitalfm.co.uk is strictly imperial. Are you familiar with this station? I'm told I should listen to it and hear how the British people really measure.
As for the car manuals, what about the actual manuals that come with the car? If the manuals are downloadable on-line in PDF format, can you provide a link/ Thanks, Euric ----- Original Message ----- From: "Terry Simpson" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "U.S. Metric Association" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, 2003-11-03 21:12 Subject: [USMA:27423] RE: Car brochures in U K > john mercer wrote: > >Could someone tell me in the U K if you get a brochure on a new car > >do they give the dimentions of the car such as length width height > >and weight in imperial or metric or both? > > I looked at the websites of the 6 major manufacturers (Ford, Vauxhall, > Peugot, Renault, Citreon, Audi).
