Hi everybody.  I would like to make some comments about using millimeters verses centimeters. I agree that each industry should use what is best for them.  I think sometimes we who really like the metric system can get hung up on some things that really don't matter all that much.  I am pointing 10 fingers at myself and nobody else.  I think we should try and keep the metric system simple.  If I want to know the size of a room I want to know how many meters it is not centimeters.  We should try and make the metric system as easy as possible for the average person whether he or she be an American, Canadian, or Brit, sceen these are the 3 countrys that are still in the change.  I can't remember if I have said this on this site or not.  I get anoied with the anti metric people who say that people over the age of 50 can't understand the metric system.  I would like to say that the people of the U S Canada and the U K are as smart as the people of any other nation that has gone  metric. I am 54 years old and until I was in my 20's i knew nothing of the metric system.  Thank you everybody.
