This web site is about the best for metric. I'm working on getting the SI into schools. Some pages of my "Make Metric Meaningful" approach have been included in the Montgomery County Public School system's web site here in Maryland. MCPS has about 140,00 students and the Superintendent has told me that he is committed to teaching the SI and the ISO Date/Time format in science classes.
Also, I've have tentative agreement to put an appendix in the Smithsonian's National Science Resource Center's course materials. NSRC has published 32 science K-8 courses and they are now working on courses to teach science teachers how to teach science based on the 32 courses. The courses are used nationwide. Discussion on this web site has been every helpful to me.
