Not "force", "encourage".

No. This forum is provide a place for people to exchange ideas and thoughts.
My thought is that you should consider supporting the organization that
causes this free discussion list to exist, a list that you seem to use
extensively.
I paid for a train ticket to and from Washington, DC to attend this forum,
which I attended on behalf of Metric Methods. As a consultant I am willing to
write you a report --- at consultant rates --- giving you a summary of the
meeting. Of course in addition to paying me a few hundred dollars you would
have to sign a non-disclosure agreement not to disseminate my report, else
you would have to pay much, much more. Frankly, the USMA membership would be
a better deal.
How critcal can this information be to you? Is it $35 worth of critical, $30
for U.S. residents? Then join USMA. Some folks support metrication by orating
from atop other people's soapboxes. Others put their money behind what they
believe in.
