Hello Mighty Chimp. I found this information
out from the customer service department. If you go to Briggs and stratton
web site and click on briggs and stratton engines and click on racing engines
you will see an engine called metric animal. This is their racing engine
for gocarts. The Animal engine is just one of the engines in the Intek
line that have gone metric. As far as I know this is the first engine built in
the States by B and S that use metric bolts. They have a line of engines
called the Vanguard, they are built in Japan and use all metric
bolts. Mighty chimp I don't know where you live if you live in the U K or
in Europe? Do you have Briggs and Stratton engines in your country?
