Unlike most other calendar reform proposals, the persistent 13 month calendar isn't crazy at all! This calendar is extremely simple and is not a radical departure from the Gregorian calendar. Unlike decimal time, it could be nearly painless and problem free to adopt.
It sure would be great to not need a calendar or computer to figure out days of the week from dates and vice-versa. And it would be nice to have the same number of paychecks every month, and to have the months be the same length. Oh well....
