The website below explains how vision is tested in the US
using feet.
Some years ago it was stated that metrication would turn
perfect vision of 20/20 into 6/6. But I'm not sure if the method used in
the US is what is used in metric countries. Can anyone who has knowledge
of vision testing explain how it is done in a metric environment and how the
numbers are stated?
