Could someone please tell me on a� 30 cm ruler how�are the cms graduated.� Are they marked off every 10 cm or every 3?� Does the ruler have mm on it as well? Thanks John.����
That is a matter of taste. I have three metric rulers in my hands. All are graduated in millimetres and have numbers at every centimetre. The British and the Canadian rulers have centimetre numbers, while the USMA ruler has millimeter numbers. Of course the millimeter numbers all end in zero. Perhaps USMA thinks that Americans can not understand the difference between millimeters and centimeters.
