The Chair of the Council of Codes and Standards in the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) has shown interested in appointing me as Chair of the SI Advisory Committee. This Task Group will write a proposal to form the Committee on the International System of Units (COSI). COSI will deal with issues concerning ASME and SI.
Does anyone in this list know of any ASME colleagues that might be interested in the formation of COSI? Once I am officially appointed, I will be seeking the advice of insightful professionals on this topic.
