You know what would be great.  If someone could get a hold of one of the photos taken by the Mars Rover before it went down.  The picture(s) could be "doctored" to show a sign.  On the sign could be printed: "Welcome to Mars" and distances to various Martian "cities" in kilometres.  Or maybe even statistics about Mars in metric units.   What about stereotypical Martians blasting Rover with a Ray gun for trying to communicate with the Martians using FFU, thus angering the Martians who feel the use of non-SI to be insulting?    Any other ideas?   Euric
