Joe, sir:
This does work to 40077.05472 kilometre. This works to applying a correction factor of 1-degree metric (or Gon) =100.1926368 km, which I attempted to show as:
1 metre (New) = 1.00022 745122 metre at p.67 of my book, Towards A Unified Technology (1982). The minor difference is due to 'assumed Earth radius of 6371 km and/or the value of year = 365.24 days.
However, ONE factor that * I feel of significance* is ancient astronomers mapped their sky for calculations as ONE degree per day. I have attempted to use the Ratio, 966/965 = 1.00103626943 (for Tithi/ Phase duration); and Ratio, 849/839 = 1.0119189511323 (for Nakshatra/asterism transits) in my attempt to draw up the format of my 834-yr/148 LWks scheme.
While it is not my intenstion to trigger any discussion on time, on this list, I shall reply to any mail that I receive in my mail box seeking clarification. The format is shown at:

My applogy for not conveying 'gratitude on YOUR attaining age 90 recently'. May you keep guiding the USMA family and the cause of Matrication. My regards,

Is it not time to MODIFY or change to make it perennial, Oh Daddy!

However, one gets even closer if one multiplies the 360,000 feet of one degree by the number of days in a year, say 365.24. Then the number of feet making up the earth's circumference comes out at around 131,486,400 - and here one is getting remarkably close to the true circumference of the earth.

Thus has me completely baffled. What has the number of days in the year got to do with the subject?
