As you probably know, recipes in most metric countries measure solids by weight not volume. In this case, it is not just a problem of soft metrication (e.g. showing cooking times per 454 g), but the additional problem of changing dimension. Translating cup measures of solid into ml is easy enough but it looks very odd to me (e.g 80 mL grated cheese). Not inherently wrong though.
