Good sir, while you might have something intelligent to say re: The posting on Salish Indians, it insults me to do so with profanity and threats. That kind of reaction will get our cause no place fast.
To respond to the actual posting: The Salish Indians should be taught to understand that the metric system is based on the natural environment. Most metric units are based on a natural phenomena and I do believe the base number 10 is the number of fingers and toes we have (can't get more natural than that). Do these people use the English language to communicate with their fellow "European" Canadians? If so they why? Its a European language artificially created....
