"Metric time", that is.  I have been on this list for years now, and for the past 6 months the quality of discourse has reached a new low.  It just isn't very interesting anymore, and all this foolishness about "metric time" is just about the last straw.  I wonder how many people have dropped this group as of late because of irrelevance.    May we discuss how to promote usage of the metric system in the United States, please?  If people are interested in "metric time", they can start their own site, or blog, or whatever.  But not here, please.   HARRY WYETH
