Hello I do not want to be dis respectful to anybody
on this site but i don't think the U S has any plans to impirialise the world.
The U S has been and still is an economic super power. If the U S were
going to impirialise the world it would have happened before now.
They could have imperialised Germany after ww 2 when they rebuilt German
industry. I don't want to see the U S ecconimy collapse that would have
a negative effect world wide. Is there as much resistance to metric
in America as is sometimes displayed on this list. May i say another
thing. I feel we should try to stay on the topic of how to metricate
both Canada and the States. If we get off on topics that are off the wall
remember the BWMA is out there. If they saw us talking about things
that are off the wall they would laugh in our faces, and say those metric people
are really out in left field. I want to be held accountable and if i bring
up a topic on this site that is in left field please let me know. Nothing
would make me happier than to see metric excepted in the States and Canada and
the U K by the average person walking down the street. Again i don't want
to step on anybodys toes but we have a really good chance to promote metric here
so lets not blow it by talking about things that don't help our cause. Thank
