True, the inception of this flag came into being for promotion of Metric Time - to which most of the list is against. That was the reason, I moved to Calendar-L listserv to discuss time unless I got any mail in my INBOX linked to 'Time & Arc-Angle' where the need to bridge exists.
The right 50% of the flag is meant for National use (of the country - with National Flag at the top (25%) and National Emblam in the lower 25%) of flag. Promotion of Le Systeme International d'Unites is an automatic corroloary, if and when *Time and Arc_Angle* gets discussed. So far the Metric Flag has been history 'unknown/uncherished'. My time scheme has now shifted to: Change NOTHING and still have it - keep the 52-week year, 7-day week, 24-hour day and also 360-degree to circle and 90-degree to quadrant.
However, thanks for your time, sir.

Regarding the "metric flag" proposed by Brij Bhushan Vij:
I don't see how your "metric: flag can be used to promote the International System of Units (SI). It contains more national symbols than SI symbols. (Does it contain ANY SI symbols?) The only reference to SI seems to be the reference to your personal proposal for what you call "metric time", a proposal with which I do not agree.
