I don't do copy and pasting if I don't need to.  It is easier for the submitter to select "rich text" before sending and send the post in html.  Then the links are never broken.  Why should the majority of us have to play with the links to get them to work, when all one has to do is click on the link and Voil� it opens?  I don't understand this hang-up with using html all of the time.  Plain text is as old fashioned as using FFU. 
 
I consider any links unimportant if they don't come unbroken.  The person sending them must also consider them unimportant.  If they were important, then the sender would assure that the receiver would get them in a manner that would allow them to be opened the first time without any problem.
