Suggestion:

Don't show links as properly-punctuated parts of sentences .. show them as
separate paragraphs, and disregard puctuation, viz.

link

more of sentence

That may help minimize broken links too.

Han Maenen's link for the Maporama web site didn't work because it
somehow had an erroneous comma at the end of it. The comma was a
correct punctuation for his sentence, but the computer included it as
an integral part of the address which made the address wrong. Han wrote:

Just cut and past the address into your web browser and delete the
comma after "com". Then it will work.

And, yes, the site seems to be all metric as the default. Hurray!
