I just finished designing 4 new parts.  The drawings are entirely in mm and 
micrometers, on ISO sheet sizes.  All fastener threads are ISO sizes.  The 
dimensions are mostly in round numbers of mm.  Even the date is per ISO 8601.

It's nice to know that the machinist might get a little more comfortable with 
metric drawings, and that the engineers in the lab who work with these parts 
will have the opportunity to get a little more used to using metric tools and 
fasteners.
