Just wait when the Tour de France begins. Then you
will see an Imperial France; stages in miles, speeds in miles per hour,
altitudes of mountains in feet and the temperature in France will
be between 80 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit. At least, according to the
Telegraph (and other British newspapers).

Americans
The article I posted earlier came from a British paper
the Telegraph. At first, I thought it odd that scientists in Europe
would keep records of peoples heights in feet & inches. The author's
insistence on dumbing down the units to FFU may have resulted in bad info if
typical conversions errors are present.

to prove it. His records, including files on "runaway slaves", "indentured
servants" and "West Point graduates", bear testament to the American
decline.
