I've found Microsoft Streets and Trips to be a very good piece of software. I'm not a supporter of Microsoft, but this program can be set to kilometers, the driving speeds can be set to the relevant speed you drive on rural roads, highways, etc. Plus the cost of fuel can be entered as cents per liter.
I picked mine up in Costco, with the mail in rebate it was free! Keep it on my laptop when I travel, then get the laptop out to navigate around or see how far away some place is. directions give distances in meters and kilometers. I think the non metric side if selected gives distances only in miles and fractions of a mile. I mean these internet sites like mapquest or yahoo that give you driving directions, distance, time, maps etc. They are all in miles! It's extremely annoying for us Canadians... > > Rgds, > Guti --- Michael Payne --- [EMAIL PROTECTED] --- EarthLink: The #1 provider of the Real Internet.
