Euric, Can you advise me on an issue we have here in the UK. There is this campaign going on for a charity "Run a mile" thing. It's all over the papers and the BBC keeps going on about it. You can see it here: http://www.sportrelief.com/ Is there anything we can do to make them say kilometre? What we could do is do what we did with the marathon - ie just take its length and say it in kilometres, regardless of wht it really is. What's the equivelent of one mile in km? We could then bring the website up and simply tip-ex the "mile" out and put the km in instead. And then do that on the millions of screens being used by millions of people. What do you reckon? After all "The UK is a metric country" |
