I came across a site that provides information about various countries. Here is the country profile for Burma. I found no mention of an official system of measurement for that country, but this web page seems to be mostly metric! (Unfortunately, their usage isn't quite up to snuff: "sq km".) http://www.countryreports.org/content/burma.htm
