Trinidad roads must still be in miles. I checked the car ads from the
Trinidad Express and found one car advertising mileage:

pbh, 230CLK kompressor, 24,000 miles, AMG sport suspension/ rims,

I have not been able to determine if the sale of goods in the market are in
pounds or kilograms. But it seems the Carribean is a mixture of units. A
law passed to in favour of metric will more or less end the measurement
mumble-jumble.
