Terry, Have you also seen Peugeot scooters? This company is on my blacklist, because they sell scooters in metric countries with dual km/h and mph speedometers, which I think is absolutely ridiculous. If you see one, what do their speedometers in Britain show? Soon I am going to ask Peugeot whether they have found out whether the EU has secret plans to abandon the metric system (acting the ignorant), and if that is the reason for these dual speedometers to prepare us for the day of joy when ifp makes its debut. Today we see Peugeot scooters with dual speedometers, to-morrow they may well start with cars in metric countries. Peugeot has misbehaved with units before. In 1978 they sabotaged the adoption of the kilowatt by only using the continental horsepower in their ads, before that they used the SAE-gross marketing horsepower and in 1984 the same company used the British horsepower in a Dutch ad as on one of their cars wore the inscription 110 BHP.
